How To Get To Heaven

Yep partner, I sure do. And I'll be glad to tell you. First go straight to the Bible, God's holy Word!

Yep, that's right. It's the best road map ever printed. Why, God makes Mr. Atlas look like a whimp!

Now then, when you pick up that Bible, be sure to turn right.  Yes sir, turn right to Romans 3:23.

Now, look at what it sez..."for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,"

Partner, do you understand that? Everybody, me, you, I mean everybody has sinned against God!

What was that you said? So what!? I'll tell you so what! Look at that warning sign on the road in Romans 6:23..."the wages of sin is death..."

Now partner, if I was you, I wouldn't want to be stopping right here in the middle of the road! You better read on..."...but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Now I reckon if I had a choice between dyin' in my sin, or gettin' a free gift of eternal life from God, I'd take the gift! That what you want too? Tell you what you do. Go straight to Romans 5:8 and look at what it sez..."But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."

Whoa now. Did you see that? Christ died for us...now that includes you, dude. Get it, Jesus died for your sins! You don't have to experience a spiritual death. You can live in Heaven with God!

Now, partner you're almost there, so don't run out of gas now! Take a big turn right over to Romans 10:13 and read what's on the map..."Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

That's it partner! That's it! You're there, dude, all you got to do is make one last turn to Jesus. Call on His name and you can be saved; that free gift is yours; and Heaven will be your eternal home!

Okay, here's how you make that last turn...

#1 ADMIT that you are a sinner, just like me, and that you need to be forgiven of your sin;

#2 BELIEVE that Jesus is the Son of God; that He died on the cross for your sin; and that God will forgive you of your sins, just like he promised; and finally

#3 COMMIT yourself to God.

To make it around that last bend in the road to heaven, you need to say a prayer right now, asking God to forgive you of your sin. This prayer must come from your heart, but it could be something like this:

"Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and have done wrong in your eyes. I believe in my heart that Jesus is your son and that He died for my sins. I ask you to forgive me of my sins and I commit my life to you. In Jesus name I pray, amen."
